Julia Kalmanovich is a critically acclaimed young ready-towear designer from the Russian Federation. She studied craftsmanship under the renowned Russian couturier Viacheslav Zaitzev. In 2006 she had her first fashion show during the Ural fashion Week and then exposed her creations as a part of a young designer collective at every Russian Fashion Week for three seasons. After her first solo fashion show in 2008, she's opened her own couture studio and has functioned as an independent fashion house. Kalmanovich currently counts among the promising new wave of Russian fashion designers and has gathered various recognitions and awards in Europe.
